The CRCTA is requesting the erection of a public indoor tennis facility in the Whitehall Road Park to accommodate the fast-growing sport/hobby of tennis. Tennis is growing in popularity and is played by people of all ages. However, the lack of a public indoor facility prevents year-round play for many area residents. An indoor facility would provide area tennis players with protection from inclement weather, offer opportunities for year-round play, and serve as a focal point for the local tennis community.
